HOW TO PLACED GOOGLE ADSENSE ON MY PAGE/WEBSITE
WHAT TO CONSIDER ON GOOGLE ADSENSE
Now, let’s take it one after another.
WHAT IS GOOGLE ADSENSE (also known as Google Ads)
Google Ads is an online advertising platform which was developed by Google, where advertisers bid to display brief advertisements, service offerings, product listings, or videos to web/apps users.
WHERE CAN GOOGLE ADSENSE BE PLACED
Google Adsense can be placed both Google search result (Like using Google to search for something) and on non-search websites, mobile apps, and videos (the Google Display Network).
WHEN WAS IT LAUNCHED
Google Adsense was launched in October 23, 2000 – by WordStream Founder and CTO Larry Kim. But then it was called GOOGLE ADWORDS.
But ok July 24th, 2018, Google AdWords became Google Ads.
WILL I HAVE TO PAY BEFORE DISPLAYING AN ADS ON MY PAGE?
The answer is “NO”. Participation in AdSense absolutely free.
Google won’t demand a dime to display Ads on you page as far as you agree with them to do so.
WHAT WILL BE THE BENEFIT OF PLACING ADS ON YOUR WEBSITE/APPS PAGES?
Maybe you’ve ever wondered where online marketers and website owners get money, in some cases, giving out money without you doing anything to them.
Smile, your services to them worth compensation. Here is the logic, Google will pay you for clicks or impressions on the Google ads you’ll display on your site. That means, whenever you click on the add displaced on their sites, the more revenue the generate.
AdSense for search lets you offer your users Google web search directly from your pages. By placing an AdSense for search box on your site, you’ll generate earnings from ad clicks made by users on the search results pages.
You won’t, however, receive revenue from user searches through your AdSense for Search box. When users perform searches on your site, but choose not to click on the ads on the search results pages, you will not receive any earnings.
Now, the question is, how can I place Google Adsense on my pages or websites?

HOW TO PLACED GOOGLE ADSENSE ON MY PAGE/WEBSITE
To be able to participate in Google AdSense earnings, you must first take these steps into consideration.
STEP 1: SET UP YOUR SITE
Before you get started, you need to have an existing website. You can’t apply for AdSense on a hypothetical or future site. If you don’t have an existing website, you are not eligible. And if you are having an under-constructing website do not apply for an Adsense.
STEP 2: MAKE SURE YOUR SITE IS IN COMPLIANCE
Google does not just accept any website into this program. You need to meet their eligibility requirements to be considered (that is you must have an easy to use navigation.
Your website must not have complicated widget and must be well organised)
STEP 3: APPLY TO ADSENSE
If you are done with the above steps, that means your site is up and running, you’re ready to apply to AdSense.
The first thing you need to do is navigate to the Google AdSense website
From the Home tab, click on “Sign Up” button to start the application process.
STEP 4: CONFIGURE YOUR ADSENSE
Now you have to determine which types of advertisements you want to be displayed on your website.
On the left side of your dashboard, look for the Content option.
Once you click on Content, there will be a drop-down menu with some additional options.
From there, you’ll want to click on the Ad Units menu.
STEP 5: COPY AND PASTE THE ADSENSE CODE ON YOUR SITE
After you’ve configure your ads, move to the bottom of the page.
STEP 6: COPY ADSENSE CODE
Click on the “save and get code” button.
Google will automatically generate a code for you to add to your website.
STEP 7: COPY AND PASTE THE ADSENSE CODE ON YOUR WEBSITE
You’re going to copy and paste this code to your website.
If you’re using WordPress, you can do this by using widgets.
Paste the custom AdSense URL, then drag and drop the code into the widget area where you want it displayed on your website.
STEP 8: UPDATE YOUR PRIVACY POLICY
When AdSense is enabled, you need to include a privacy policy on your website.
This is in place to let your website visitors know that an ad network is displaying ads on your site.
Here’s the full Google resource for required content in your privacy policy.
STEP 9: VERIFY YOUR ADDRESS
Once you start generating earnings from Google AdSense, you’ll receive a card from Google in the mail.
Before you can withdraw your earnings, you’ll need to make sure your address has been verified.
The card will include a PIN associated with your AdSense account. Just follow the instructions on your card for verifying the PIN online.
Once the PIN and address have been verified, you’ll be able to cash out payments when your account reaches the specified payment threshold.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE!
Do not try clicking on your own ads.
Since AdSense is based on clicks and other engagement, clicking on your own website advertisement is considered fraudulent. It’s advisable not to allow any of your family members in your household to click on those ads either.
If Google see clicks coming from your house to ads on your website, they can remove you from the AdSense program.
