Once there were two drunkards – John and Jack. They were the best of friends and loved nothing more than drinking together.

One day, they decided to go to the local pub to quench their thirst. As soon as they entered the pub, they ordered a whole bottle of whiskey and started drinking it straight from the bottle.

As the night went on, they got more and more drunk and started to do funny things. John started to tell some really bad jokes, and Jack laughed so hard that he fell off his chair.

Suddenly, John had an idea. He said, “Let’s see who can drink this whole bottle of whiskey the fastest!” Jack agreed, and they both started drinking as fast as they could.

After just a few seconds, John collapsed on the floor, and Jack was still drinking like a fish. Everyone in the pub started laughing, and Jack looked around and said, “What’s so funny? Did I miss a joke?”As it turned out, the whiskey bottle John and Jack were drinking from was actually filled with water. They had been drinking water all night and were too drunk to realize it.

In the end, they both had a good laugh about it and decided to call it a night. From then on, they decided to always check their drinks before downing them.
